Princess Story Dance Workshop

Have an enchanted summer at CDA's Princess workshop where the dancers become a different famous princess everyday. Children dance to the creative stories and exciting music from well known princess fairy tales. Each day there is craft time in which the dancers make a craft that relates to the story and then they use their craft as a prop to dance with. Snack time is united with story time. Children's Music Video Workshop

Join us and discover the thrill of being a STAR in your very own pop music video! Each day participants will enjoy music and dances from High School Musical, Miley Cyrus, and several other Disney pop stars. Broadway Dance Workshop
An ideal opportunity for parents and children to dance together!  Join us this summer at CDA in learning the HOTTEST dances in Musical Theater! Each day participants will learn choreography from Broadway Musicals that have been made famous for their nostalgic and energetic dances. Learn dances from Grease, Hair Spray, High School Musical, taught by Robin.  The last half hour of each day will be devoted to the sassy and stylistic choreography of Bob Fosse, taught by Deanna Prince.  Click here for workshop dates, times and prices

Jazz Dance Leaps and Turns Workshop

Turn up the heat this summer on your Jazz leaps and turns! Being able to do awesome leaps and turns is every Jazz dancer’s dream. Leaps and turns add a high point of excitement and difficulty to Jazz choreography. This dance workshop emphasizes the technique and presentation of a full range of leaps and turns used in Jazz Dance choreography. Classical Ballet Repertory Workshop
Make this your TURNING POINT for summer! Kathleen will teach authentic Classical Ballet repertory during this workshop. Learn classical excerpts from famous Ballets such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Tarantella, and Serenade. DanceScope Choreography Workshop

This is a wonderful opportunity for younger dancers to learn and perform CDA Dance Company choreography from CDA Company dancers and choreographers. Workshop classes include choreography and segue troop material from DanceScope 2008. Classes in Dance Composition/Improvisation will teach the dancer elements of choreography and staging terminology. A new class in this summer's workshop is "How-To-Audition."
